WORKING TOGETHER
IS BETTER
Within a QUIO community, teachers, resource teachers and consultants collaborate on student learning. They can share Learning Maps created for subject, grade and competencies and can customize according to student needs and the objectives of their learning communities.
QUIO allows teachers to share student evidence of learning, too, to support one another in the evaluation process.
“When educators participate in sharing stories, take part in internal accountability practices, and build networked learning communities, the philosophy of assessment and school culture begins to move forward.” – CEA research funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC)
